Since mid 2024 I was very happy that we are executing very well - we first focused on cost reduction and we achieved that. Then we focused on revenue increase / profitability and we got that too. Post that we were focusing on growth and it looked like that growth starting to happen. All through, there was less drama and more work. But provident would not let Simpl be a boring place, and 2025 also gave us a big event.
We should have some clarity Monday EOD. Will we be allowed to resume in like a few days, or will it be more than that? Let's see wait till Monday EOD. We will get back to you then on how it looks like.
From engineering side, don't let a good crisis go waste. As long as the crisis lasts, the pressure of delivery will be lesser and we should use that time to improve our systems.
In the attempts to get v2 conversion rates better than v1 conversion rates, Akshay is ready with the unified FE changes (where both SIKA UI and splitpay UI is rendered from the same domain). We deployed it once, but discovered a bug and reverted in 10 minutes. Before we could take it live again, the shutdown happened.
KCC has been released for internal users. Internal testing ongoing.
AFS, TS and RE APIs are in the new configuration. This should lead to smaller costs for these APIs.
We are declaring OneSignal deprecation done. This was a project started long ago, and we have systematicall migrated all types of push notifications from OneSignal to FCM direct, solving various problems along the way. Thanks Ritesh and others who worked on this.

D26 RU delinq is up sharply. This is as per guidance provided by DS team that delinq should rise. This is not due to the even of past few days since I checked D24, and even that is up. We will check that the rise is indeed due to selmore non blocks as we expected.
